My acrylic house album template has been STOLEN!

I recently designed, cut and created a shaped acrylic album which I used to create my signature gingerbread album. I listed the album on ebay October 15th. Click here to view the closed auction. During that same time I posted pictures of the album on Two Peas in a Bucket; a popular scrapbooking website, and on my blog.

Beginning November 15th, this beautiful unfinished acrylic album template became available for sale online and in various local scrapbook stores across the nation. It will soon be published in Scrapbook Trends Magazine.

Click here to see a computer generated image of the unfinished album.

The reason for this email is to inform you that I did NOT manufacture the acrylic template album. Someone has stolen my design and is mass marketing, and mass manufacturing it. Please DO NOT purchase it. If you see it in your local scrapbook store, please advise them of the situation and urge them to return the albums.

I am currently looking into legal action to protect my rights, however, you can help support original designers everywhere by forwarding this email to any crafters you know, especially design team members, local scrapbook store owners and employees.

Oh, and if anyone knows a really good copyright attorney, I would love a referral.

If you have any information about the sale of this copied acrylic album please email me directly at camillemcc@gmail.

Thank you for your help!

I have two more albums done for my Christmas Village and how I am afraid to post them. I don't like it that someone else is making a huge profit off of my designs.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Okay so I REALLY would have liked to have been there when Big Bird discovered everything wasn't "A-O'kay" with is friends. Poor chap.

Wonder why they never aired THAT episode?

Did you have a close look at Burts eyes? Clearly he's been transformed into a zombie. But who is the mastermind?? Hard to tell.. It can't be Ernie, he's an idiot. The grouch wouldn't have shared if he had done it. The count? Maybe. Cookie monster couldn't care less, he's got a plate of cookies.

Hummmm.... Zoe is conspicuously missing from the group and Elmo looks the most sane. That's it. Elmo is the mastermind. He tried to bring Zoe in on the plan but she was appalled so he wacked her too. It's always the one you least expect.

I bet there's Zoe-stuffing in that thar' bird.

They're all sick I tell ya! Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy the Turkey.

Snow!!!!

Yesterday we had the first snow of the season. It was a beautiful morning. By noon the snow was completely gone.
Noah was already at school, but I took Jennica and Aaron outside to play. They had a blast! I was freezing and had to keep sneaking back into the house.
Afterwards we had hot chocolate and finished off a pumpkin pie for breakfast. Yum!

Christmas Village Fire Station- Sneak Peak!

I have finally gotten started on the Fire Station for my Christmas Village album set. It isn't anywhere near complete, but here's a sneak peak at what I have already started. I am so excited!

If there is something you would love to see added to the album please post comment. I always love fresh ideas!

I have also decided to complete the entire 5 album set before listing any of the pieces. Reason being is after I listed the gingerbread house I was so busy cutting and selling house shaped albums that I couldn't even think about the other books for almost 3 weeks! At that rate, Christmas will be long over before I get any more finished.

If you are interested in purchasing one of my unfinished acrylic albums please email me at camillemcc@gmail.com.

2008 Year at a Glance

I found this great song by John West called New Years Day for the listing. I'm going to have to add it to my playlist. I love it!

Here's the listing

Oh and BTW, I won the PFOP challenge contest. I loved several of the other members work so I feel pretty honored.

My goofy kids!

The other day I was giving my kids much needed haircuts and decided to take some pictures after they were all cleaned up. Aren't they gorgeous kids!

Yes, I know the muscles are very impressive.

Best Buddies!

"Come closer."

"That's perfect!"

"Now that's too close."

"Back up!"

Acrylic Christmas Village

I am so excited about my next project!

Starting on Tuesday I will begin to create my acrylic Christmas Village album set. I've already completed the Gingerbread house and it turned out fantastic. My plan is to complete one piece and list it on eBay every 4 days or so. Of course I'll have to get the albums cut first before I can begin finishing them. I hope to have the first one online by the 19th of November. Here's just a sneak peak at the preliminary drawings:

In light of the theft of my first acrylic album template design, I am removing all full pictures of my works in progress and will only be posting close up pictures of small detail elements. Sorry. : ( Blaim it on the copycats!

The PFOP Challenge...

Projects.

I have been trying to finish up several projects so I can give my family back the kitchen table.

First, there were all the orders for gingerbread houses. Unfinished and Finished. Then I agreed to teach a class on the gingerbread houses and had to kit 10 of them. Then there was the PFOP challenge that I will go into in a bit. A magnetic board I needed to finish up, and there is still a football album I need to add too and some custom acrylic albums I need to design and cut for a client. Can I just say, "AHHHHHH!"

The other night I went to a craft night at my church and made the most amazing magnetic board. I just love it! Now I just have to remount the mounting hooks so I can hang it up. In true Camille style I was not paying enough attention and ended up with the mounting hooks on the side of the finished project instead of the top.

My good friend Tammy has challenged all the PFOP members to design outside the box. WEll, outside of THEIR personal box. Try something new and maybe a little scary. To me scary is a 12x12 layout. I've made a few before and they were just horrible. Granted my skills have improved some since then, but I still felt so intimidated.

So I've had this project on the back of my mind for some time. Not quite sure what kind of 12x12 to do, holiday theme? Fall??? I just wasn't inspired at all. All I could imagine when I thought of the project was one big disaster!

Then I started thinking along the lines of calendar pages, office bulletin board, year at a glance... What would I like to see in my own office.

Intimidation?? Woosh, out the window.

I don't know it I was just really inspired, or if because the layout isn't going to go into a scrapbook so it didn't really scare me like a typical layout. Whatever it was I'm glad. I LOVE the way it turned out. I'm planning on posting it on eBay and secretly praying it won't sell so I can keep it! I'm even posting a small picture here with no details in good view so just in case anyone actually reads my blog (lol) they won't be tempted to go bid on it!

Halloween!

So I haven't dressed up for Halloween in like 20 years. Maybe it was a mistake to try it this year, but we had fun! My kids are the princess, ninja and boxer. The other Two are my neice and nephew. I'm Sister Incarnasion - Or something like that-- I can't remember her name, and the DH is NACHO Libre! Don't forget to pause the music before playing the video.
