Acrylic Albums!

I love Acrylic Albums! I design and cut my own custom shapes. --not to be confused with the copycats. Mine were first.

Here's a look at some of the custom shapes I have cut.
The first album I created was this snowflake album. The first one I cut took about 8 hours and I broke two pages! Now I can make on in about 1 hour --without even breaking any pages! Woohoo!

To make my albums I use 5 different power tools, and several hand tools. I make them when my husband is not home since if he saw how I make them he would probably not allow me in the garage. You see he really likes all my fingers and the fact that I have two eyes and would like for me to stay that way!

Next I cut a mason Jar album and a Tea Pot album for a GREAT customer. She has recently asked me to cut a Christmas Tree and Gingerbread Man shaped album. I can't wait to start them!

Then came the football album. I love this album. I'm going to make one filled in BSU colors and fill it with tailgating recipes- or something- for my parents.

Hey mom, if you're reading this, forget I said anything!

Finally, my favorite album so far! My house shaped album. I love how this albums turned out with the different sized and shaped pages. It made a great gingerbread house and would be great for a haunted Halloween album. I would love to make 4 albums for winter, spring, summer and fall. As soon as I finish all the custom orders I have for this one, I think I will start that next!

Do you have an idea for a great shaped album? Let me know and I'll consider creating it for you!

My shaped albums are all copywritten and cannot be reproduced without my written consent.

I have a best friend who I can't live without.

She is so strong. She is one of those people that everyone seems to lean on for strength. Not because I am weak, but because she is so much stronger than I am.

She is so brave. To stand alone when her husband is deployed for long months on end. To face the illness of one child and remain strong for the others.

She is so smart. Whenever I can't figure life out and don't know what to do I can count on her for sound advise. Things I usually already know, but haven't been able to accept, and she isn't afraid to tell me. She'll wipe the ground with you in a wits battle and then pick you up and send you on your way.

She inspires me. Her dedication and hard work drives me to try harder myself. She sets challenging goals and then immediately gets to work attaining them.

She's someone I could hang out with all day in my pajamas with no make up and never once feel self conscience. Even though she is beautiful she never makes you feel like your not.

She's amazing.

I have a best friend I can't live without.

I love her!

It's a paper bag album titled "Mother".
It's full of quotes from mom and loads of sarcasm!

Today has been a great day!

Today my album:

Made it on the eBay Pulse!
I am so excited. The overwhelming amount of support from buyers and also sellers has been amazing. People are just so nice. I really questioned whether this album was any good and almost stopped in the middle of making because I didn't think it was going to turn out. I'm seriously so insecure-It's not even funny! But woo hoo, I've made a winner. Here's the link if you want to see the whole thing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170159395211&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

Now, on top of being excited about my own album, my design team Pocket Full of Papers (PFOP) launched our Pink Charity listing tonight on eBay and immediately got a bid. The charity listing is something we do annually in October. All of the proceeds benefit the Susan G. Koman For the Cure breast cancer foundation. As women we all know someone who has been personally effected by Breast Cancer and I think all live with the fear that someday it could be any one of us. The album is beautiful with 28 separate layouts all themeless in pink. Please have a look at the album. If you feel so inclined, please bid generously.
