I'm pregnant!

I think I am about 6 weeks along. On Christmas Day the HG hit. (Hyperemesis Gavidarium- Severe nausea caused by pregnancy.) It's horrible. Like having the worst stomache flu you've ever had 24/7 for at least the next 11 weeks. I want to die.

Cutting our Christmas Tree

On Saturday, we went up to Idaho City to cut our Christmas Tree. It's something we try to do every year, but due to some conflicts with scheduling we haven't made it up in the past couple years.
The snow was perfect! It was only about 5 inches deep. Just right for the kids, and the day wasn't too cold. We all stayed pretty warm and no one even complained about being cold till the very end of the day. Aaron and Jennica even took their coats off for a while to cool down.
I think this year we found the best tree ever. It's a beauty. I have no idea what kind of tree it is, but it has short needles and it's nice and tall and full. There is just nothing like a fresh Christmas tree that you cut down yourself. If I ever break down and buy an artificial tree, someone please, first make me smell it, and then shoot me.

After we found our tree and dragged it kicking and screaming back to the truck we did some sledding. This is the first time the kids have really been old enough to enjoy sledding, and boy did they have a blast. We found a gentle sloping hill that just went on and on and on. Since the snow wasn't deep it was really easy treking back up the hill. We stayed out till it started to get dark, then Noah, Jennica and I took the last ride down the hill together. We went so far that we nearly made it back to the truck!
It was the most perfect day. The stuff memories are made of.

It's finally posted!!

My Christmas Village is finally posted on eBay. I am so pleased with how it all turned out. My only concern is it took me so long to complete it's going to be a challenge getting it to the buyers before Christmas!

I still need to get the unfinished albums listed. Once that's done, man alive, I need to hit the stores and start my Christmas shopping!!

Here's a link straight to the auction listings.

Oh yeah, I met with my copyright and patent attorney regarding Clear Scraps THEFT of my house shaped design template. My attorney was very interested in pursuing legal action because the theft is so blatant! Woohoo!

I'm not going to be afraid to share my work

One design may have been stolen, but I'm not going to let that turn me into someone who never posts any more pictures of my work and spends all my time searching to see if any more of my designs have been stolen. I've been afraid to post on my blog, afraid to talk about my current projects, I don't want to live like that! I am meeting with an attorney next week to discuss my legal options against Clear Scraps, but until then I won't let their unethical actions hold me back.

So here's what I've completed so far. Tell me what you think. The pictures were taken at night so the lighting isn't really good.

check out my blog design!

Wow.

No wait, let me say that again.

WOW.

I have been meaning to update my blog to Christmas theme, but I just haven't had time. My good friend Amber offered to do it for me. She is amazing. She threw together my blog design and created the beautiful tag of my family in just a couple hours. Now all that's missing is Christmas Music!

Thank you Amber!

My acrylic house album template has been STOLEN!

I recently designed, cut and created a shaped acrylic album which I used to create my signature gingerbread album. I listed the album on ebay October 15th. Click here to view the closed auction. During that same time I posted pictures of the album on Two Peas in a Bucket; a popular scrapbooking website, and on my blog.

Beginning November 15th, this beautiful unfinished acrylic album template became available for sale online and in various local scrapbook stores across the nation. It will soon be published in Scrapbook Trends Magazine.

Click here to see a computer generated image of the unfinished album.

The reason for this email is to inform you that I did NOT manufacture the acrylic template album. Someone has stolen my design and is mass marketing, and mass manufacturing it. Please DO NOT purchase it. If you see it in your local scrapbook store, please advise them of the situation and urge them to return the albums.

I am currently looking into legal action to protect my rights, however, you can help support original designers everywhere by forwarding this email to any crafters you know, especially design team members, local scrapbook store owners and employees.

Oh, and if anyone knows a really good copyright attorney, I would love a referral.

If you have any information about the sale of this copied acrylic album please email me directly at camillemcc@gmail.

Thank you for your help!

I have two more albums done for my Christmas Village and how I am afraid to post them. I don't like it that someone else is making a huge profit off of my designs.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Okay so I REALLY would have liked to have been there when Big Bird discovered everything wasn't "A-O'kay" with is friends. Poor chap.

Wonder why they never aired THAT episode?

Did you have a close look at Burts eyes? Clearly he's been transformed into a zombie. But who is the mastermind?? Hard to tell.. It can't be Ernie, he's an idiot. The grouch wouldn't have shared if he had done it. The count? Maybe. Cookie monster couldn't care less, he's got a plate of cookies.

Hummmm.... Zoe is conspicuously missing from the group and Elmo looks the most sane. That's it. Elmo is the mastermind. He tried to bring Zoe in on the plan but she was appalled so he wacked her too. It's always the one you least expect.

I bet there's Zoe-stuffing in that thar' bird.

They're all sick I tell ya! Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy the Turkey.
